What it does not change
Commission rates differ between brands, sometimes by a lot. Our verdicts are built from specs, owner review patterns, price history, and published tests, as described on How We Evaluate. A brand paying more does not move it up a list. A brand paying nothing does not get left off.

We do not accept payment for reviews or rankings. If a brand provides a product for evaluation, the article says so.
